The RapcoHorizon YN1-P series Y-cable is built for engineers and production professionals who need a dependable signal split from a 3.5mm TRS source — such as a laptop, interface headphone output, or portable playback device — into two separate 1/4" TS destinations like mixer channels, DI boxes, or instrument inputs. Where generic Y-cables cut corners with molded plastic shells and machine-terminated ends, the YN1-P uses all-metal connectors that are hand-soldered and wired as an insert configuration — TRS tip and ring split across two TS legs. The stem uses RapcoHorizon's Lo-Z mic cable (MIC3.K) for low-noise signal transfer, while the legs use RHC shielded instrument wire (INST2) with bare annealed copper braid shielding at 80% coverage on both conductors. Every cable is individually tested before shipment, making this the right choice when you need consistent, quiet performance across a run of cables.
