The RCF AYRA PRO8 is built for engineers and producers who demand a neutral, accurate reference point throughout the mixing and mastering process. Its proprietary FiRPHASE FIR filtering technology delivers a 0-degree phase response, a capability previously unavailable at this monitor class, giving listeners a precise stereo image and transparent sound that makes mix decisions transfer reliably across playback systems. The dedicated internal DSP continuously optimizes frequency response and dynamics, so the monitor remains consistent regardless of listening volume or room size.
Powering the system are two Class-D amplifiers delivering 200W peak to the low-frequency driver and 80W peak to the tweeter, with internal soft limiting to protect transducers during extended sessions. The 8-inch composite fiberglass woofer is engineered for rigidity and damping, with a voice coil optimized for extended low-frequency reproduction down to 45Hz. A 1-inch ferrofluid-cooled soft dome tweeter and RCF Precision Waveguide control dispersion across a wide horizontal coverage pattern. Front-ported vented ports keep bass response accurate without rear-wall placement constraints, making the AYRA PRO8 practical in a variety of room configurations, from home studios to professional post-production suites.
Three input formats including XLR, TRS jack, and RCA accommodate balanced and unbalanced sources, supporting integration into DAW-centric setups, analog consoles, and outboard monitoring chains. HF and LF shelf controls allow compensation for room acoustics without requiring external EQ. MDF cabinet construction minimizes resonance and cabinet coloration, keeping the focus on the program material.
