PKX, a modified polyether ether ketone reinforced with structural ribs, forms both the diaphragm and suspension. This material class offers greater rigidity and dimensional stability than conventional polymer diaphragms, which translates directly into tighter tolerances, consistent frequency response, and reduced distortion across the operating bandwidth. The Kapton voice coil former, edgewound aluminum winding, and copper inductance ring work together to control inductance rise and extend usable response toward the top of the audible range.
