Unlike basic background music speakers that sacrifice low-end response in the name of size, the CMR 30 uses a passive radiator to reinforce low frequencies, giving music playback a fuller character appropriate for retail environments and listening areas. The 2.5-inch neodymium full-range transducer covers 70 Hz to 20000 Hz at a sensitivity of 86 dB, and the 130-degree coverage angle suits typical ceiling-height installations where even dispersion across a listening area is critical.
