The RCF CMR series is designed for AV integrators and system designers who need a discreet, high-performance ceiling speaker that works equally well on constant-voltage distributed systems and low-impedance amplifier outputs. Available in two woofer sizes to scale coverage and output to the room, these speakers fit hospitality spaces, retail environments, corporate interiors, houses of worship, and any installation where aesthetic integration is as important as acoustic performance.
Each CMR speaker uses a coaxial transducer arrangement, placing the neodymium dome tweeter at the acoustic center of the woofer for time-aligned, coherent dispersion across a 130-degree conical coverage angle. That constant-directivity pattern makes zone planning predictable and reduces the number of units needed to cover a given area evenly. The built-in line transformer supports 70V and 100V constant-voltage operation with five front-accessible power tap settings, so a single model can serve multiple zones at different drive levels without additional external attenuation hardware.
Installation hardware consists of three long-travel spring clamps that secure the speaker to a wide range of ceiling thicknesses without additional brackets. The steel magnetic grille snaps on and off for clean access to the power tap selector during commissioning. Euroblock connectors on both input and output support daisy-chaining across a distributed run. CE compliance and UL 1480A listing satisfy the certification requirements common to commercial construction projects.
