The RCF COMPACT A series targets sound engineers, integrators, and production companies who need a dependable passive point-source cabinet that performs equally well as a main PA, a stage monitor, or a fixed install speaker in clubs, houses of worship, and music venues. Each cabinet pairs a 1.75" compression driver with a high-power woofer and RCF's True Resistive Waveguide to deliver constant-directivity 100x60 degree coverage across the listening area. That controlled dispersion pattern reduces off-axis coloration and lets engineers place speakers confidently without ringing out a room or fighting boundary reflections.
The polypropylene composite cabinet with M-brace internal reinforcement keeps weight down without sacrificing rigidity, a critical balance for touring crews doing daily load-ins and integrators who need a cabinet that stays secure on a wall or truss over the long term. Multiple M10 rigging points on the top and sides, a 35 mm pole cup, and compatibility with optional mounting accessories give this series flexibility across pole, flown, wall, and truss deployments. Speakon connectors on both input and output support daisy-chain wiring for distributed configurations. Dynamic Active Mosfet protection and a 1200 Hz crossover are shared across the range, and RCF recommends pairing these cabinets with their KPS, QPS, IPS series amplifiers or the DMA 504 for optimized system performance.
Where lightweight plastic-cabinet competitors sacrifice low-frequency output or coverage consistency, the COMPACT A series uses a purpose-designed waveguide to maintain pattern control and high SPL.
