The RCF DMA-162 is a two-channel Class D matrix amplifier designed for AV integrators and installed sound contractors who need a capable, space-efficient amplification and processing solution in a single unit. With five configurable inputs, onboard DSP, PEQ, FIR linear phase filters, compressors, bass enhancement, and dedicated presets for RCF loudspeakers, it replaces what would otherwise require a separate amplifier and DSP processor. The 70V output mode and bridged mono configuration give integrators the flexibility to serve a wide range of loudspeaker topologies without additional hardware.
For multi-room deployments, the DMA-162 distributes four audio channels to DMA-162P expansion units over an analog audio BUS, enabling a scalable architecture suited to restaurants, retail, houses of worship, corporate facilities, and hospitality venues. Configuration can be handled from the front panel OLED display or remotely via RDNet, with support for paging consoles and GPI contact closure for automated source switching. The half-19-inch, 1U form factor fits desktop or rack installation with an optional mounting accessory, and a universal switching power supply accommodates worldwide deployment without voltage adjustment.
