The RCF EVOX 12 targets working sound engineers, touring production crews, and installed AV operators who need a high-output, low-footprint PA that can hold its own against conventional floor-stack systems. Eight neodymium 4" full-range transducers on the top section deliver consistent horizontal coverage across a wide audience area, while the 15" subwoofer fills in the low end with enough authority to reinforce live kick drums, bass, and DJ program material without a separate sub stack. The 1400W Class D amplifier, DSP processing, and soft limiter are all housed inside the cabinet, eliminating the need for external amplification or a crossover rack unit.
For touring applications, the Baltic birch plywood enclosure, integrated transport wheels, and extendable handle make single-person load-in practical. Pole-mount compatibility means front-of-house placement is achievable in venues where truss or speaker stands are the only option. The 90-degree horizontal by 30-degree vertical dispersion pattern suits mid-size club and conference room coverage without excessive spill onto walls or ceilings. Balanced and unbalanced XLR and jack inputs accept signals from consoles, playback rigs, and direct sources, with XLR throughput for linking additional systems. The onboard volume and EQ controls, combined with thermal and RMS protection circuits, give operators direct-access tuning without a separate controller.
