With an IP 66 enclosure rating and an operating temperature range that spans outdoor and indoor extremes, it is equally suited to stadium concourses, transportation hubs, industrial facilities, sports complexes, and open-air venue perimeters where weather exposure is a constant factor.
The aluminum flare and UV-stabilized ABS rear cover are purpose-built for permanent installation, resisting corrosion and UV degradation over years of outdoor deployment. A stainless steel U-bracket is included for direct mounting, eliminating the need to source additional hardware. The built-in constant-voltage line transformer supports both 70V and 100V distribution systems and provides five selectable power taps via a rear rotary dial, giving system designers precise zone-level volume control without additional attenuators. A built-in high-pass filter protects the 2-inch compression driver from out-of-range low-frequency content, preserving driver life in installations where signal conditioning upstream may be limited.
Where comparable horn speakers require external transformers or lack environmental ratings above IP 54, the HD 410T delivers a self-contained solution with 112 dB sensitivity and 130 dB maximum SPL at 1 meter, making it a practical choice for long-throw applications where speech intelligibility and system reliability over time are the primary requirements.
