The RCF HDL50-A 4K targets production engineers and rental companies building large-format line array systems for festivals, arenas, houses of worship, and large touring productions. With 8000 watts of peak power distributed across four Class-D amplifier channels and eight neodymium transducers, this module is engineered to cover the full frequency range at scale without external amplification or outboard processing.
Each cabinet integrates RCF's 90 x 10 degree 4PATH waveguide, which provides consistent horizontal coverage across the audience plane while keeping vertical dispersion tight for long-throw throw applications. The symmetrical cabinet design allows modules to link into steerable arrays with predictable coverage and minimal lobing, making it a practical choice wherever beamforming control is required. Onboard 48 kHz, 32-bit DSP handles crossover, EQ, and protection automatically, and RDNet networked management gives system engineers real-time monitoring and control of every module from a single interface.
Compared to passive line array solutions requiring separate amplifier racks and drive racks, the HDL50-A 4K consolidates the signal chain into the cabinet itself, reducing truck pack, setup time, and failure points on the signal path. The Baltic birch plywood enclosure with integrated mechanics and steel grille is built for the rigors of repeated touring deployments while remaining manageable for production crews handling daily load-ins.
