The RCF KX active 2-way speaker series is engineered for touring sound engineers, installed audio integrators, and production teams who need scalable, high-SPL point-source coverage with centralized system control. Each model pairs a neodymium woofer in a bass-reflex cabinet with a neodymium compression driver coupled to a True Resistive Waveguide rotatable by 90 degrees, giving engineers the flexibility to reorient coverage for portrait or landscape deployments without repositioning the entire cabinet. Available in 10", 12", and 15" woofer configurations, the series scales from compact monitor-adjacent fills to full front-of-house mains.

Onboard RDNet via EtherCon lets system technicians monitor, adjust, and recall presets across an entire rig from a single control point, a clear operational advantage over speakers that require physical access for parameter changes. Proprietary DSP with FiRPHASE linear-phase filtering and BMC processing is tuned specifically for each transducer pair, eliminating the guesswork of third-party outboard alignment. The two-channel Class D amplifier runs convection-cooled, reducing mechanical noise and maintenance overhead in quiet install environments. powerCON TRUE1 TOP connectors support looping power across multiple units, simplifying cabling on large deployments.

Baltic birch plywood construction delivers the rigidity needed for repeated transport and rigging loads.
