The RCF LN19S400 is engineered for cabinet builders, system integrators, and touring production companies who need a high-excursion, high-power raw transducer for custom subwoofer builds. Its 19-inch format and 1500W RMS continuous power handling place it firmly in the performance tier required for large-format touring subs, installed arena systems, and professional flyable subwoofer cabinets where off-the-shelf drivers cannot meet excursion or efficiency targets.
At the core of the design is a 4.0-inch, 4-layer inside-outside CCAW voice coil wound on a fiberglass former. The ultralight copper-clad aluminum wire reduces moving mass without sacrificing motor force, allowing the driver to track transient peaks with greater precision than conventional copper-wound alternatives. The triple-roll polycotton surround and triple-layer sandwich spider work together to support a peak-to-peak excursion of 65mm, giving cabinet designers substantial headroom when tuning vented alignments for deep extension below 30 Hz. A single aluminum demodulation ring and neodymium motor structure reduce flux modulation and distortion at high drive levels, which is a meaningful advantage in multi-driver arrays where intermodulation adds up quickly.
The hyper-vented dual-forced air system addresses one of the most common failure modes in high-power subwoofer drivers by actively cooling the voice coil gap during sustained high-level operation. Combined with a Vas of 204 liters and an Fs of 32 Hz, the LN19S400 offers the Thiele-Small parameters needed to model accurately into both ported and bandpass alignments, giving integrators precise design control. CE compliance rounds out the specification for internationally touring and installed applications.
