The RCF MH 61EN is engineered for system integrators and AV professionals specifying permanent sound reinforcement and voice alarm installations in medium to large spaces. Its EN54-24 certification makes it a compliant choice for life-safety and emergency voice alarm systems, while its IP66 protection grade means the enclosure withstands weather exposure, allowing placement in outdoor stadiums, transit concourses, industrial facilities, and covered exterior areas without additional housing.
The two-way design pairs a woofer with a dome tweeter to reproduce intelligible speech across a wide frequency range, which is the primary performance requirement in evacuation and paging applications. Four selectable power taps on the 100V constant-voltage transformer let integrators tune the speaker's contribution within a distributed system without passive attenuators, streamlining both commissioning and long-term adjustments. The ceramic screw terminal blocks on both input and output accept looped wiring natively, and a built-in thermal fuse protects the line if heat compromises the enclosure.
An adjustable steel wall-mount bracket is included, enabling the enclosure to be aimed precisely at the coverage zone once installed. The ABS body keeps mass low relative to the acoustic output, and the 70 degrees horizontal by 90 degrees vertical dispersion pattern is well suited to the long-throw, controlled-coverage demands of stadium seating bowls, large concourses, and similar venues where projection distance and speech intelligibility are critical. Recommended drive amplifiers include the RCF DXT 3000, DXT 4000, and DXT 7000.
