The RCF NX Active 2-Way Speaker series is built for sound providers, working bands, and DJs who need professional output and consistent coverage in a portable, pole-mountable cabinet. The series is available in 12" and 15" woofer configurations, letting engineers choose the form factor that fits the venue without sacrificing the same amplifier platform or DSP architecture. Each cabinet is suited for stand-alone FOH duty, satellite operation alongside a subwoofer, stage monitoring, or flown and truss-mounted installations using the dedicated M10 and Quick Lock rigging points.
RCF's proprietary FiRPHASE processing maintains zero-degree phase alignment across the operating bandwidth, preserving transient detail that conventional IIR-filtered speakers lose. Bass Motion Control DSP actively manages woofer excursion, protecting the transducer while extending low-frequency output. The constant directivity True Resistive Waveguide maintains coherent 100 degree by 70 degree coverage across the listening area, reducing off-axis coloration that creates audience hot spots. Convection cooling eliminates fan noise from the signal path, making these cabinets viable in quieter theatrical or corporate presentation environments as well as high-SPL live production.
The all-plywood cabinet and steel grille are built to withstand touring load-in and repeated rigging cycles. Powercon TRUE1 TOP locking power connectors support daisy-chaining on stage, and the combo XLR/Jack inputs accept balanced or unbalanced signals. Soft limiting and thermal/RMS protection keep the amplifier and transducers safe under sustained high-output use, making the NX series a reliable choice when uptime matters more than anything else.
