The RCF Q Series two-way point source module is engineered for production teams and system integrators who need scalable, high-output passive cabinets for mid-distance and long-throw applications. A 15" neodymium woofer pairs with a 4" titanium-neodymium compression driver and a 600 Hz crossover, delivering accurate speech intelligibility and music reproduction at demanding SPL levels. The trapezoidal enclosure with 22.5° coupling angles on each side makes it a true building block: deploy a single cabinet for point-source coverage or combine up to 8 modules into a cluster for long-throw configurations. Vertical coverage options of 40°, 60°, and 90° let system designers match the dispersion pattern to the specific room geometry and throw distance.
Construction is built for repeated professional use. The multi-ply Baltic birch plywood cabinet is finished in a highly resistant, textured black polyurea coating. The epoxy-coated steel grille includes a woven fabric backing for transducer protection. Integrated array rigging points on the sides and rear simplify flown or ground-stacked cluster assembly. Two rear-panel Neutrik Speakon NL4 connectors support bi-amplification, giving system engineers independent control over LF and HF drive levels. Recommended amplifiers include the XPS 16K, XPS 16KD, and QPS 10K, providing a clear integration path within the RCF ecosystem.
