The RDL EZ-HSX4 is a compact 4-input stereo source selector built for installed AV environments where clean, reliable signal routing matters. It fits houses of worship, retail stores, broadcast sound booths, recording studios, and commercial sound systems that need a straightforward way to choose between multiple program sources without a mixing console in the signal path. Solid-state audio switching eliminates the mechanical noise and contact degradation common in passive switchers, making it a dependable long-term install component.

Where the EZ-HSX4 stands apart from basic passive selectors is its integrated headphone amplifier and dual output architecture. Engineers and operators can monitor directly on headphones via the front-panel 1/4-inch or mini jack while simultaneously feeding a downstream power amplifier through the rear RCA line output. The line output can be set to unity gain for fixed-level distribution or switched to variable mode so the front-panel level control governs both outputs together. At one-third rack width, it mounts cleanly in a rack enclosure alongside associated amplifiers or drops into a custom millwork installation without consuming full-rack real estate.
