The Saramonic DK6A is an ultra-thin and lightweight professional headset microphone for wireless transmitters that captures rich and detailed sound quality with a comfortable and secure fit. Whether you need a low-profile microphone for the stage, presentations, on-camera talent or active roles, the DK6A has such a low profile that it’s nearly invisible when worn. It’s sweat, make-up and dust-proof, making it well prepared for a variety of applications, and its omnidirectional pickup pattern provides natural sounding audio, even when the subject is moving.
The DK6A mounts to both ears to maximize comfort and provide a confident fit, even if the person wearing it is highly active. It’s as lightweight as possible, weighing only 0.7 oz (20g), so it doesn’t inhibit movement. The microphone boom arm length can easily be adjusted to fit different sized people, and the cable is the ideal length to plug into belt pack wireless transmitters or into portable audio recorders hidden in a pocket.
The gold-plated locking 3.5mm connector is compatible with numerous wireless systems from Saramonic, Sennheiser, Rode, Azden, Nady, Senal, Boya and even more, plus audio recorders with 3.5mm microphone inputs with plug-in power from manufacturers like Zoom, Tascam, Sony, Marantz, Roland and more. And because it is standard 3.5mm TRS wiring, it can even be plugged directly into DSLR, Mirrorless and Video Cameras with 3.5mm microphone input that provide plug-in-power. When you don’t need to go wireless, the Saramonic C-XLR+ audio adapter (sold separately) lets you easily plug the DK6A lavalier into equipment with XLR inputs.
