The Saramonic SoundBird T3 is an advanced professional shotgun microphone that delivers clear, broadcast-quality sound and provides a comprehensive set of features with a premium suite of included accessories. An internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery provides power for up to 150-hours, and it can also be powered by external phantom power. The all-brass construction is extremely durable and helps to reduce radio frequency interference. The gold-plated XLR output provides the best possible signal transfer and resists corrosion. At 11.1” the SoundBird T3 is the ideal size for use on a camera, boom pole or stand.
Several built-in controls let you achieve the best possible sound quality in a variety of situations. A Low-Cut button eliminates distracting deep bass sounds like the rumble from HVAC, footsteps and traffic noise. A High-Boost button compensates for frequencies that are lost when you use wind protection and increases vocal intelligibility. A -10dB Pad makes it possible to capture loud sounds without clipping. All of the buttons are illuminated so you can easily see the settings, and an On/Off button changes color based on power source and battery level. Your settings are saved when you turn the mic on and off.
You need many accessories to use a shotgun microphone properly, and instead of making additional purchases, all of these accessories are all included with SoundBird T3. You get an SR-SMC2 shock mount for attaching to the shoe of a camera or a boom pole.
