The sE Electronics V8 MC1 is built for vocalists and engineers who demand a wireless dynamic capsule that performs at the level of a wired premium microphone. Designed for compatible Shure wireless handheld transmitters, it fits production environments where tonal accuracy and minimal post-processing are priorities, including touring shows, theatrical productions, house of worship, and live broadcast. The supercardioid polar pattern provides focused pickup that rejects off-axis bleed, making it practical for loud stage environments where monitor bleed and crowd noise are constant challenges.
At the core of the V8 MC1 is the newly developed DMCV8 capsule, which builds on the engineering lineage of the highly regarded V7. The result is a capsule that captures vocals with natural detail across the frequency range, presenting clear highs and controlled mids without the hyped coloration common in dynamic capsules at this price tier. For engineers mixing on tight show schedules, a capsule that arrives at the mix already sounding balanced reduces the dependency on channel EQ and speeds up sound check. The V8 MC1 ships with a leatherette pouch, thread protection cover, black internal windscreen, and a microfiber polishing cloth, giving touring professionals the accessories needed to protect and maintain the capsule on the road.
