The sE Electronics V-Series V8 MC2 is a premium dynamic microphone capsule engineered for vocalists and engineers who demand more from their Sennheiser wireless systems. Designed as a direct upgrade path for compatible Sennheiser transmitters, it replaces a standard capsule with the newly developed DMCV8 moving-coil element, which was built on the foundation of the widely respected V7 vocal microphone. The result is a supercardioid polar pattern that delivers focused pickup with natural off-axis rejection, making it a practical choice for stage monitors at close range and loud live production environments.
For live sound engineers, the V8 MC2 addresses a common challenge: achieving a polished vocal sound with minimal post-processing. The capsule is voiced to produce clear highs and controlled mids that translate directly to front-of-house without heavy EQ intervention. That characteristic makes it equally useful in broadcast and corporate AV contexts where the signal chain is leaner and gain structure matters. Available in two finishes to suit different wireless transmitter aesthetics, the V8 MC2 ships with a leatherette pouch, thread protection cover, black internal windscreen, and microfiber polishing cloth, so it is ready for immediate deployment on the gig or in the install.
