C-Bracket and Tile Bridge engineered for 8-inch round Sonance Professional Series, Visual Experience, and legacy Visual Performance in-ceiling speakers. The C-bracket provides rigid back support for the speaker's Roto-Lock clamps, and the tile bridge distributes the speaker weight across adjacent ceiling tile rails so the cabinet doesn't bow finished tile or sheetrock when the heavier 8-inch speaker is installed.
This C-bracket and tile bridge is the included part shipping with PS-C83 and PS-C63RTLP speakers, supplied here as a replacement or supplemental set for installations that require additional support hardware. Supplied as 1 pair.
The 8-inch ceiling speakers carry significantly more cabinet mass than the 4- and 6-inch members of the family, making rigid C-bracket support more important — not less. Even when the C-bracket and tile bridge ship in the original speaker carton, ordering spares for replacement or supplemental support is standard practice on commercial ceiling fields where structural anchoring of the heavier cabinets is critical for long-term mechanical reliability.
