The Sonance 40251 is a field-installable horn kit designed for integrators specifying the PS-S85 series in commercial installations where broader collar-pattern coverage falls short. By replacing the standard 120-degree collar with an 80-degree axis-symmetric horn, the kit redirects acoustic energy into tighter, more controlled dispersion, reducing spill and improving intelligibility in challenging spaces such as high-ceiling retail environments, atriums, transit terminals, and long-throw corridors.

The kit mounts directly onto the PS-C85RT or PS-C85RTBF speaker baffle without special tooling, giving installers the flexibility to adapt coverage patterns on-site rather than specifying a separate speaker model. This makes it a practical solution for projects where room geometry or occupancy zones require a mix of wide and directional coverage from the same speaker platform. Included installation hardware supports a clean, complete installation without sourcing additional hardware separately.
