The Sonance Professional Series PS-C83RT is a premium 8-inch in-ceiling speaker built for commercial distributed audio installations that need broad low-frequency extension and high SPL output. A high-excursion 8-inch polypropylene woofer delivers effortless low-bass performance even at elevated volumes, while the pivoting chambered 1-inch soft dome tweeter aims to maintain consistent coverage when ceiling geometry forces compromised speaker placement.
The one-piece magnetically-secured bezel-less grille supports a one-step painting process for clean integration with finished ceilings, and the optional Square Grille Adapter matches the aesthetic of square downlights and HVAC grilles. The PS-C83RT features a sealed metal enclosure, integrated cable and conduit clamping, removable Euroblock connector with loop-through, swing-open connector cover, and seismic attachment. Certified for UL 1480 and UL 2043. The C-Bracket and Tile Bridge is included with this speaker.
Pair with the matching grille, square adapter, or rough-in bracket ordered separately to complete the installation.
