The Sonance Professional Series PS-P83T is an 8-inch pendant speaker engineered for commercial spaces with open or exposed ceilings — warehouses, retail showrooms, large restaurants, hospitality lobbies, and houses of worship — where an in-ceiling speaker isn't practical. The minimalistic pendant form echoes pendant lighting, and the one-piece grille matches Pro Series in-ceiling speakers for consistent sight lines.
A high-excursion 8-inch polypropylene woofer delivers effortless low-bass extension and the SPL headroom expected of an 8-inch driver, while the pivoting chambered 1-inch soft dome tweeter aims for consistent off-axis coverage in larger volumes. An integrated top cover conceals the hanging hardware and wiring connector for a clean appearance from below. The PS-P83T is certified for UL 1480 and UL 2239. The black finish suits modern commercial interiors and high-ceiling distributed-audio installations.
