The Sonance Visual Performance Series Acoustic Enclosures are designed for custom AV integrators and residential installation professionals who need reliable acoustic isolation for in-wall speaker deployments. By mounting inside the wall cavity directly behind the speaker, these enclosures contain sound and control bass resonance in multi-room and whole-home audio installations where crosstalk between rooms or structural sound transmission is unacceptable.
Available in medium and large sizes, and in both rectangular and round profiles, the series accommodates the full range of Sonance in-wall speaker footprints. The fully-braced MDF construction addresses a common failure point in competing solutions: unbraced or thin enclosures that allow cabinet flex and degrade low-frequency performance. Each variant is engineered to pair with its corresponding Sonance speaker model, ensuring the enclosure volume and baffle geometry support the driver rather than fighting it.
For integrators calculating rough-in depth, total installation depth is determined by adding the wall material thickness to the listed enclosure depth, giving accurate measurements for pre-wire and framing stages. Mounting hardware is included with each unit, streamlining the installation workflow on new construction and retrofit projects alike.
