The Sonance Large Round Flex Bracket is a durable ABS rough-in bracket sized for 8-inch round Visual Experience, Visual Performance Q, Professional Series, and legacy Visual Performance in-ceiling speakers. The bracket can be nailed, stapled, or screwed to ceiling joists before drywall is cut and installed, locating the speaker's eventual position with precision while the construction documents are still fresh.

After drywall is finished and cut, the speaker installs into the rough-in opening using its Roto-Lock clamps. Snap-on mesh metal wings accommodate up to 24-inch (610mm) on-center joist spacing, suiting both standard residential and light commercial framing. Supplied 5 pair (10 brackets) per box so an installer can rough in multiple speakers from a single carton — useful for distributed ceiling fields in fitness studios, restaurants, retail, hospitality, and houses of worship where 8-inch ceiling speakers carry the program material.

Flex brackets are the right choice for new-construction projects where the 8-inch speaker field is laid out during framing rather than committed to until later. ABS construction is lighter and faster to handle than metal alternatives and accepts nails, staples, and screws interchangeably. Order one bracket per planned speaker location and stage them at the rough-in trade window so the speaker contractor isn't waiting for hardware delivery.
