The Sonance 93659 is a dedicated acoustic enclosure designed for AV integrators installing VX Extreme and VXQ LCR in-wall speakers in residential or commercial environments. It mounts in the wall cavity directly behind the speaker, eliminating sound bleed into adjacent rooms and delivering controlled low-frequency performance that open-cavity installs cannot achieve.
Fully-braced half-inch MDF construction stiffens the enclosure against resonance, which is critical in LCR configurations where dialogue clarity and tonal accuracy matter most. The 20dB sound containment rating makes this enclosure a practical requirement in multi-room installs, home theater builds, and media rooms where acoustic separation between spaces is part of the design brief. Compatible with VX62 LCR and VX66 LCR speakers only. Not compatible with legacy Visual Performance LCR models, so integrators should confirm speaker generation before specifying.
Mounting hardware is included, keeping the install self-contained. For integrators specifying Sonance VX LCR systems, this enclosure completes the acoustic design and protects performance claims made at the system level.
