The Sonance 96004 VX66 is a 6" rectangle in-wall speaker pair from the Visual Experience Series, engineered for commercial audio installations where performance and finished appearance must coexist. Designed through an iterative process combining acoustic simulation and machine learning, the VX66 goes beyond conventional in-wall speaker engineering to deliver measurably accurate reproduction across a wide frequency range. The 6.5" Kevlar and Nomex cone woofer paired with a ferrofluid-cooled ceramic dome tweeter provides controlled, extended output from a shallow mounting depth, making it viable in partition walls and retrofit scenarios where cavity depth is limited. The Sinusoidal Textured Waveguide technology shapes dispersion for consistent coverage without requiring supplemental DSP correction. With a power handling range of 5 to 140 watts and 8-ohm nominal impedance, the VX66 is compatible with a broad range of commercial amplification.
