The Squid Power Management System from SURGEX is an AC and DC power distribution unit with power conditioning, control, and monitoring. Thanks to its small form factor, you can mount it to a wall, a table, or against the face of an equipment rack. It features an internal web server that provides configuration, output control, monitoring, and the retrieval of data logs. Multiple security and communication interface options are also supported. This PDU has one IEC320 C14 AC inlet, four IEC320 C13 AC outlets, two 5V USB-A ports, an RJ45 network port, a micro-USB port, and two recessed push buttons for hardware and software reset. There are also five DC terminal blocks with a 5V output, plus two output banks, each with two ports. DC Output 1 delivers 2.5A at 24V, while DC Output 2 delivers 5A at 12V. Also featured is under-voltage auto shutdown that is adjustable from 0 to 300V, overvoltage auto shutdown that is adjustable from 125 to 300V, and overcurrent auto shutdown that is adjustable from 0.1 to 20A. All three of these may also be disabled. The Squid's software offers a single solution for management, mitigation and control of a system's power. Its competencies include sequencing, scheduling, auto-ping, IP control and monitoring plus reduced service calls through proactive management. Its 360° of power protection helps ensure equipment remains up and running without disruption.
