The TOA A-9060SM2 CU is a 2U rack-mount modular digital matrix mixer and power amplifier built for permanent installation in commercial sound reinforcement and paging systems. Accepting both 9000 series and legacy 900 series input modules, the unit scales to support up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs, making it appropriate for multi-zone installations in houses of worship, corporate facilities, educational campuses, and transportation hubs. With a 60W onboard power amplifier capable of driving 4-ohm or 8-ohm loads directly, or 25V and 70V distributed speaker systems through the built-in transformer, the A-9060SM2 CU handles both low-impedance and distributed audio requirements without additional amplification.

System integrators benefit from deep onboard DSP, including a 10-band parametric equalizer, high-pass and low-pass filters, compressor, delay, and 30 TOA loudspeaker EQ presets accessible through the setup software. RS-232C control via a D-sub connector enables integration with third-party control systems, including AMX and Crestron platforms, while four contact-closure control inputs and four open-collector outputs allow relay-based triggering and logic control. Settings are stored across 32 scene memories and 32 paging memories, and can be recalled directly from front-panel keys without a connected computer, an essential capability for live installation environments where operator simplicity is required. The key lock function prevents unintended parameter changes after commissioning.
