The TOA AV-60S-AM is engineered for integrators installing audio in boardrooms, conference rooms, and AV presentation spaces where ceiling plenum access is required. Its UL 2043 plenum rating allows direct installation into air-handling spaces without conduit or external enclosures, eliminating the added labor and material cost that non-rated amplifiers require in these environments. At 60 watts into either 4 ohms or 70V, it covers both distributed and direct-drive loudspeaker topologies in a single compact chassis.

The switching power supply accepts 100V to 240V AC without adjustment, making the AV-60S-AM a practical choice for installations that span multiple facilities or international deployments. Energy Star 3.0 certification is supported by a configurable Auto Power Down function: in Standby mode the amplifier sleeps after approximately 20 minutes without signal and wakes automatically when audio returns, while Non-Standby mode keeps the unit active continuously. Both modes are set via tact-switch on the Remote Volume Control port, so end-user configuration requires no access to the back panel.

Three discrete line inputs accommodate transformer-balanced terminal block, 3.5mm stereo jack, and RCA connections simultaneously, with selectable sensitivity on each input. Onboard bass and treble tone controls and a remote volume control port with 10k-ohm compatibility give installers precise system tuning without additional outboard equipment. The all-metal black chassis is compact enough for rack shelves, furniture mounting, or custom millwork, and optional accessories including the WPB-20, MB-AV20RM, and MT-S0301 extend mounting flexibility further.
