The TOA BG/BA Series mixer amplifiers are designed for commercial audio integrators who need reliable, multi-input background music and announcement systems in a compact 2U rack footprint. Targeting installations in retail stores, bars, banquet rooms, and similar venues, the BG-2035, BG-2060, and BG-2120 deliver 35W, 60W, and 120W respectively, giving integrators the right power tier for the room without overspecifying. Each unit handles five inputs, supports distributed speaker systems through selectable 4 ohm, 25V, and 70V output modes, and includes a Music-on-Hold output that enables two-channel broadcast when paired with a compatible TOA booster amplifier.

Unlike consumer-grade or live-sound mixers repurposed for install work, these units are purpose-built for commercial environments. Rear-mounted DIP switches handle input-to-MOH assignment, mute configuration, LINE 1/TEL level selection, and phantom power toggling, keeping the front panel uncluttered and reducing the risk of tampering during daily operation. Removable terminal blocks on both inputs and outputs simplify initial installation and future servicing. A dedicated 900 Series module slot extends functionality with compatible input modules, making the platform adaptable as system requirements evolve. Per-input gain controls, front-accessible bass and treble adjustment, and external remote volume control for speaker output level give the installing technician granular control at commissioning without requiring rack access after handoff.
