The TOA DA-250FH CU is a four-channel Class D power amplifier engineered specifically for 70V high-impedance speaker distribution in installed sound environments. It suits houses of worship, education facilities, airports, transit hubs, and any application where a centralized rack must drive multiple speaker zones reliably. Four independent power supply sections mean a fault in one channel does not compromise the rest of the system, a critical advantage in life-safety and paging installations where continuous uptime is required.

In bridged configuration, the amplifier consolidates to two channels at 500W each on a 140V line, giving integrators flexibility to adapt the same hardware to different zone layouts without changing equipment. The switching power supply keeps the chassis at 6.6 kg and 1U height, reducing rack load and simplifying shipping and installation labor compared to linear-topology alternatives of equivalent output. An optional MT-251H output transformer provides galvanic isolation between the amplifier and the speaker system for installations that require it.

Practical installation details are handled directly on the hardware. Control covers prevent unauthorized tampering with channel settings after commissioning. A CH 1 mode switch enables a single input to broadcast across all channels simultaneously, useful for emergency paging or whole-system announcements.
