The TOA DP-SP3 CU is a 1U rack-mount digital speaker processor designed for systems integrators and installed audio engineers who need precise, flexible signal management between amplifiers and loudspeakers. With two inputs and six outputs, it supports 3-way multi-amp configurations and fits cleanly into standard EIA equipment racks. The onboard DSP handles the full chain of speaker optimization tasks, including parametric equalization, high-pass and low-pass crossovers, matrix routing, dynamics control via compressor, and time alignment via output delay. Ten filter slots per input and twelve per output give engineers the resolution needed to correct room acoustics and tune individual drivers without external processing hardware.

For installations using TOA loudspeakers, a built-in EQ characteristic library accelerates commissioning by loading factory-aligned filter curves for compatible cabinets. Contact input terminals allow integration with building control systems or remote triggers, and the analog output attenuator with per-output mute switches provides hands-on level management at the rack. When connected to a LAN, all settings and real-time operations are accessible through the included DP-SP3 PC Software, eliminating the need for front-panel menu diving during setup or live adjustments. The 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion chain, 96 kHz sampling rate, and 110 dB dynamic range keep the signal path transparent from input to amplifier, making the DP-SP3 CU the right tool for paging systems, permanent installations, and multi-zone venue deployments where audio quality and system control both matter.
