The TOA F-2000BTWP is a two-way, bass-reflex surface mount speaker engineered for permanent outdoor installation on 70.7V or 100V distributed audio systems. It targets AV integrators and system designers specifying installed audio for campuses, theme parks, transit facilities, sports venues, and commercial properties where reliable all-weather performance is required. The IPX4 splash-proof rating and corrosion-resistant stainless steel brackets allow deployment in exposed outdoor environments where standard surface mount speakers would deteriorate over time.
Delivering 60 watts of rated input from a compact 8-inch cone woofer and 25mm dome tweeter, the F-2000BTWP covers 65 Hz to 20 kHz with a natural crossover at 2.5 kHz. The 110 by 100 degree dispersion pattern ensures broad coverage without requiring multiple cabinets in mid-size zones. An 80 by 80 degree horn adapter is included for installations where tighter directional control is preferred, giving integrators two coverage options from a single unit. Tap settings on the 100V and 70V transformer span from 1.5W to 60W, providing the flexibility to balance system loads across large multi-speaker runs.
The paintable HIPS enclosure blends into architectural surfaces, and the covered rear push-in terminal block keeps connections protected from moisture ingress. Stainless steel SUS304 joint and wall brackets plus a die-cast aluminum speaker bracket are included, reducing sourcing overhead on install day. Optional SP-131 and YS-60B mounts extend placement options for ceiling or specialty applications. For distributed audio infrastructure where long-term outdoor reliability and pattern control matter, the F-2000BTWP is a purpose-built solution rather than a weatherized afterthought.
