The TOA M-822IO-AM is a remote audio input/output panel designed exclusively for use with the M-8080D digital mixer system. It provides two analog inputs supporting mic or stereo line signals and two analog outputs, allowing installed audio engineers and AV integrators to extend the M-8080D's I/O reach to remote locations within a facility without running long analog cable runs. The panel transmits and receives AES3 digital audio plus control data over a single RJ45 connection to the M-8080D or M-804EX, keeping signal integrity intact across longer distances common in installed sound environments.

The M-822IO-AM is purpose-built for corporate boardrooms, houses of worship, educational facilities, and other permanent installations where distributed audio zoning is required. Its polycarbonate and ABS panel construction is finished in white for clean integration into architectural spaces. Power is delivered directly through the network cable from the M-8080D or M-804EX, eliminating the need for a local power supply at the remote panel. Installers should note that all connections between the M-8080D and the RD ports must use shielded CAT5e cable or better with shielded connectors, and a network router is required to set up the M-8080D system.
