The TOA ML-11T is a plug-in microphone and line input module engineered specifically for use with TOA 900 Series amplifier frames. It targets systems integrators and installed sound engineers who need a flexible, field-configurable input stage without external preamplifiers or additional signal processing hardware. Input sensitivity is switchable between mic and line levels, making the module equally capable of handling dynamic and condenser microphones alongside line-level sources in a single slot.
For installed AV environments such as conference rooms, houses of worship, convention centers, and public address systems, the ML-11T provides selectable phantom power at +22 V DC to drive condenser microphones directly from the frame. The mute send and receive functionality integrates cleanly with system-wide muting logic, allowing operators to silence inputs from a central control point without breaking the signal chain. Lo/hi-cut filter options further reduce low-frequency rumble and high-frequency noise at the input stage before signal reaches the amplifier, preserving headroom and intelligibility in speech-reinforcement applications.
The removable terminal block connector simplifies installation and future service by allowing the wiring harness to be disconnected without disturbing the module itself. Balanced input at 10 kilohms minimizes noise pickup over long cable runs typical in large-venue installations. At under 50 grams and drawing only 25 mA from the frame, the ML-11T imposes minimal load on the host system while delivering a full-featured input solution purpose-built for the 900 Series platform.
