The TOA NX-100PS is built for AV integrators and system engineers who need to extend high-quality audio and control signals to remote locations over existing LAN infrastructure or public internet connections. By routing audio over IP, facilities eliminate the recurring cost of dedicated analog lines while retaining the reliability needed for paging, background music distribution, and broadcast contribution applications. The unit is equally suited to fixed installed systems in commercial buildings, campuses, and transportation hubs where long cable runs are impractical.

Transformer-isolated audio input and output reduce ground loop interference common in distributed systems. The input accepts mic or line level signals with adjustable gain, while eight control channels in each direction allow relay-triggered events and automation sequences to travel alongside the audio stream. RS-232C serial transport extends the reach of system controllers to remote equipment without a separate data circuit. The unit can operate in unicast mode for point-to-point delivery or switch to multicast for large-scale simultaneous distribution across dozens of endpoints. An optional rack bracket enables clean EIA standard 1U integration into equipment racks.
