The TOA NX-100SPS is a half-rack, 1RU network audio adapter designed for AV integrators and system designers who need to transport mic or line-level signals reliably across IP-based LANs, WANs, or the public Internet. It fits installations at airports, convention centers, railway stations, and transit systems where centralized audio must reach distributed endpoints without dedicated point-to-point wiring infrastructure. The phantom-power-equipped mic input and transformer-isolated balanced line output make it directly compatible with professional signal chains without additional adapters or baluns.
Beyond basic audio transport, the NX-100SPS supports both Unicast delivery to up to four simultaneous destinations and Multicast distribution to up to 64 locations at once, giving system designers genuine scalability within a single compact device. Eight programmable contact closure inputs allow local hardware, such as door sensors or paging buttons, to initiate and terminate transmissions without a dedicated control PC. Eight open-collector outputs close the loop on remote device control. An RS-232C serial port extends the data transport capability for systems that require command strings alongside audio. The built-in web server enables browser-based configuration, monitoring, and operational logging from any networked PC, reducing truck rolls and on-site programming time. Flash-upgradeable firmware protects the investment as network protocols and facility requirements evolve.
