The TOA NX-300PS is a professional network audio adapter designed for systems integrators and AV engineers building wide-area public address and announcement systems over IP infrastructure. Using TOA's Packet Audio streaming technology, it enables high-quality audio distribution across LAN and WAN environments, making it well suited for transportation hubs, airports, regional campuses, parking facilities, bank branches, and industrial sites where centralized broadcast control over existing network infrastructure is a priority.

Where conventional analog distribution requires dedicated cabling to every zone, the NX-300PS allows up to 500 units to be networked together with up to 1,000 configurable broadcast patterns. Onboard storage for WAV files enables pre-recorded announcements and alert tones to be triggered locally via contact closures or remotely through the included GUI software or a standard web browser, giving integrators scheduling and priority override capability without requiring a dedicated media server at each node.

The unit supports transformer-balanced analog inputs and outputs to maintain signal integrity when interfacing with mic or line-level sources across long cable runs. The complement of 8 contact inputs, 8 open-collector outputs, and 2 relay outputs provides the I/O density needed for automation and relay logic in complex installed systems. Configuration, monitoring, and firmware management are all handled over the network, reducing on-site service requirements for distributed deployments.
