The TOA TS-820 3CU is the central processing unit for TOA's infrared wireless conference system, purpose-built for boardrooms, legislative chambers, houses of worship, and multi-room conference installations where reliable wireless mic management is critical. It connects to TS-905 and TS-907 IR transmitter/receiver units to deliver wireless chairman and delegate unit control without the cable runs associated with wired conference systems, making flexible room layouts far more practical for integrators.

For AV installers, the TS-820 3CU reduces commissioning time with a built-in installation confirmation function that verifies connection status of all IR transmitter/receivers and chairman/delegate units before a session begins. Integrated FBS feedback suppression actively manages acoustic feedback in live conference environments, removing the need for a separate feedback processor in the signal chain. The system supports PC-based control for facilities requiring centralized room management or automation integration.

With support for up to four IR transmitter/receiver units standard, and up to 16 TS-905 units via a distributor, the TS-820 3CU scales to cover large or complex room geometries. A mic management function set covering open mic count, auto mic-off, and speech priority modes gives conference moderators and AV operators precise control over floor management without additional processing hardware.
