The TOA TS-920RC 3CU is the central controller for the TS-920 Series infrared wireless conference system, designed for permanent-install conference rooms, legislative chambers, and multi-language interpretation environments. It communicates with chairman and delegate units via infrared signal through connected TS-905 or TS-907 IR transmitter/receiver units, enabling fully wireless microphone control without running cable to each seat position. The controller supports up to 192 conference units simultaneously, making it viable for large boardrooms, government facilities, and convention center breakout halls.

For interpretation-heavy deployments, the TS-920RC 3CU provides dedicated base-language and translation-language mic and AUX inputs, plus a line output chain that integrates cleanly with existing PA or broadcast infrastructure. The built-in FBS feedback suppression reduces the need for external processing in reflective rooms. An MP3 recorder captures meeting content directly to USB flash memory or onboard internal memory at 128 kbps, eliminating the need for a separate recording device. Voting result indicators with 7-segment LED displays allow the unit to serve double duty as a polling controller, removing the need for a standalone voting system in many applications.

System integrators will appreciate the flexible IR distribution topology, which supports up to 16 transmitter/receiver units when distributors are used, covering complex room geometries. PC control is available via the D-sub or USB-B external control port, and the unit fits a standard EIA rack with the optional MB-TS920 bracket, keeping rack-mounted AV rooms tidy. The wide-range AC adapter input handles international voltages for global installations.
