The TOA TS-921 Y is the chairperson unit for TOA's infrared wireless conference system, designed for boardrooms, legislative chambers, and formal meeting environments where cordless installation flexibility and session control are essential. Because the system is infrared-based and requires no cabling between stations, the unit can be positioned, relocated, or removed without infrastructure changes, making it well suited for multipurpose meeting spaces and temporary conference setups.
What separates the TS-921 Y from standard delegate units is its priority speech key, which allows the chairperson to take the floor over any active delegate station at any time. The integrated voting function supports structured decision-making sessions, while the audio monitoring switch lets the operator select between main and sub audio feeds. Two independent headphone outputs with individual volume controls allow a simultaneous interpreter or assistant to monitor audio without additional equipment. The built-in 0.2W monitor speaker provides local audio feedback. Powered by an optional lithium-ion battery for approximately 10 hours of continuous operation, or by an optional AC adapter, the unit is practical for both day-long conferences and permanent installs. Dedicated microphone options, including standard and long-neck types, are available separately to match the physical requirements of the installation.
