The TOA TS-922 Y is an infrared wireless delegate station designed for use within the TS-920RC conference system. Its cordless design makes it straightforward to deploy and reconfigure in boardrooms, council chambers, legislative halls, and multi-purpose meeting spaces where fixed cable runs are impractical or disruptive to room aesthetics. Because the unit operates over infrared transmission, it integrates cleanly into installations that demand interference-free, secure audio communication between participants.
Each delegate station supports basic discussion with the addition of a voting module, making it suitable for formal proceedings that require recorded decisions. Two headphone outputs with independent volume controls allow a delegate and an interpreter or observer to monitor audio simultaneously. A monitor selector switch lets users toggle between main and sub audio channels, which is particularly useful in multilingual conference environments. Power is drawn from an optional rechargeable lithium-ion battery or an AC adapter, giving integrators the flexibility to match the power strategy to the installation. Microphone connectivity is handled through an XLR-4-31 input, compatible with the optional TS-923, TS-903, TS-924, or TS-904 microphone models sold separately.
