The TOA 900 Series Line Input Module is designed for systems integrators and installed sound engineers who need a reliable, modular solution for routing unbalanced line-level sources into a TOA 900 Series mainframe. Compatible with the full 900 Series ecosystem and other TOA equipment, these modules slot directly into the host unit to provide a clean, low-noise input path for consumer and prosumer source devices including tuners, CD players, computer sound cards, mixers, jukeboxes, and satellite receivers.

Each module in this family draws power directly from the mainframe, eliminating any need for an external power supply and keeping rack installations clean. The onboard gain control allows input sensitivity to be trimmed to match source output levels, making setup straightforward without additional outboard gear. The 220 kOhm unbalanced input impedance presents a minimal load to source devices, and the measured frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ensures full-bandwidth audio passes without coloration. With a noise floor of -106 dB and distortion below 0.05%, these modules maintain signal integrity appropriate for background music, paging, and commercial installed audio environments.

The module family is available with four connector types to match the cabling infrastructure already in place at a given install site. This flexibility makes the 900 Series line input module a practical choice for retrofit projects and new installations alike, where source connector types vary across zones or equipment racks.
