The TOA WM-5270 H01 is a standalone UHF wireless handheld transmitter designed for professional speech reinforcement and live vocal applications. Its dynamic cardioid capsule handles up to 142 dB SPL, making it equally suited to high-pressure stage environments and quieter spoken-word settings. The user-adjustable PAD switch allows the maximum input level to be set anywhere in the 130-142 dB SPL range, giving engineers precise control without touching the console.
The PLL-synthesized oscillator provides up to 64 selectable channels across the H01 frequency band, supporting multi-transmitter deployments in congested RF environments. A high RF output power ensures reliable link stability across the operating range, and the built-in antenna keeps the body compact. The on/off switch is positioned at the base of the body to minimize accidental cutoffs mid-performance, a practical design choice for both touring and installed-sound venues.
For integrators and rental companies, the WM-5270 H01 ships with a microphone holder, stand adapter, rolling stopper, screwdriver, and storage case, reducing the need to source accessories separately. Single AA battery operation keeps the form factor lightweight and the running cost low, with approximately 10 hours of runtime per cell. The transmitter is compatible with the TOA WT-5800 receiver system.
