The TOA WM-D5200-H1 is a digital UHF wireless handheld microphone built for speech reinforcement in houses of worship, corporate AV, and installed sound environments where intelligibility and reliability are non-negotiable. It pairs exclusively with the TOA WT-D5800 digital wireless receiver and is not compatible with TOA analog wireless systems or TRANTEC S4 and S5 series hardware, making system pairing straightforward for integrators specifying within the TOA D5800 ecosystem.
At the core of the WM-D5200-H1 is a unidirectional electret condenser capsule that provides high sensitivity across a 100 Hz to 12 kHz audio frequency response, suited for spoken word and presentation-style applications. FSK modulation, selectable transmission output between 1 mW and 10 mW, and a 160-channel selection grid give operators meaningful control over RF management in congested spectrum environments. Dynamic range of 90 dB, measured with the WT-D5800, supports clean audio reproduction from quiet speakers to high-SPL sources without degradation.
Designed for practical day-to-day operation, the microphone runs on standard AA alkaline batteries for approximately 8 hours per charge cycle, with a 3-step indicator keeping operators informed throughout an event. The lightweight ABS body and built-in antenna eliminate the need for external antenna rigging on the transmitter itself. Selectable microphone sensitivity and optional NiMH rechargeable battery support via the WB-2000 and BC-2000 charger add operational flexibility for venues managing high-rotation use cases.
