The TOA WT-4820 US is a 1U modular UHF diversity receiver designed for installed sound and live production environments where scalability and signal reliability are non-negotiable. By accepting up to two WTU-4800 tuner modules, it consolidates dual wireless channels into a single rack space, reducing clutter and simplifying system expansion in houses of worship, conference facilities, and performance venues.

For integrators and RF engineers, the receiver covers 506-865 MHz UHF with USA/Canada-restricted operation across 506-606 MHz and 614-698 MHz, offering broad frequency agility for interference-heavy environments. Balanced XLR output with a 102 dB signal-to-noise ratio ensures clean signal transfer to mixing consoles and DSP systems, while the phantom-powered BNC antenna inputs support active antenna distribution for extended range installations. Mix and solo switching, AF peak monitoring, and antenna A/B status indicators give front-of-house engineers real-time system visibility without secondary monitoring hardware.

Compared to fixed-channel UHF receivers, the WT-4820 US modular architecture allows staged deployment, buying and installing modules as channel count demands grow rather than replacing the entire receiver. Optional mounting brackets MB-WT3 and MB-WT4 enable single or paired rack installation, making it adaptable to both shallow and full-depth rack enclosures across permanent install and touring applications.
