It pairs with the WM-5325 and WM-D5300 transmitters, making it a purpose-matched replacement or secondary mic for installations and live productions already running TOA wireless infrastructure.
The omnidirectional electret condenser capsule captures clear, consistent audio regardless of positioning, which suits presenters, clergy, corporate speakers, and theatrical performers who need hands-free operation without managing mic placement as tightly as directional alternatives require. The frequency response extends from 100 Hz to 15 kHz, covering intelligibility-critical vocal ranges while the maximum SPL handling above 110 dB accommodates louder talkers and close-miked speech in reinforced environments.
At 20 g including the cable, the YP-M5310 is unobtrusive enough for full-day wear in conference, house of worship, and broadcast applications. The 1.3 m cable provides enough reach from lapel clip to bodypack transmitter for most wardrobe routing scenarios, and the 3.5 mm mini plug terminates directly into the TOA transmitter input without adapters.
