The Yamaha DM5C is a compact single-bay digital console built for engineers who need professional control in live sound, corporate events, broadcast, and theater environments. Based on the DM7 series engine, it provides 48 mono mixing channels, 24 mix buses, 12 matrices, 2 stereo buses, and 1 cue bus in a footprint that fits tighter mix positions without giving up serious routing capability. A 13.3" multi-touch main screen and 4.3" secondary touch display support fast navigation, while 13 touch-sensitive motorized faders keep hands-on access available for key sources and mixes.
For networked and modern production workflows, the DM5C includes Dante 64x64 and USB to Host 18x18 connectivity, along with support for PY cards and the optional RK5 rack mount kit. Its 96 kHz operation, signal delay of less than 1.5 ms from input to OMNI OUT at 96 kHz, and adjustable display tilt make it well suited for demanding show control, installed event spaces, and outdoor mixing positions where visibility matters. Included accessories cover essential setup needs with a power cord, dust cover, cable hook, documentation, and downloads for Nuendo Live and VST Rack Elements.
